Michela Cravedi obtained her master's degree in March 2022 in Biology from the University of Milan-Bicocca. She began her career in the research field in June 2022 at the Carlo Besta Neurological Institute as a research fellow where she worked on immunological studies for the treatment of glioblastoma. Specifically, during this experience she gained the ability to purify peripheral blood mononuclear cells from glioblastoma patients for immunomonitoring with multiparametric flow cytometry panels. Thanks to this solid background, in December 2024 she joined the flow cytometry core facility in IFOM ETS as technician, where she is mainly involved in cell sorting. The access to advanced instrumentation and a highly specialized environment allows her to apply and expand her acquired skills, consolidating her role in the field of advanced flow cytometry and phenotypic and functional analysis of cell populations.
