We seek for our Institute:

TECHNICIAN - MATERNITY REPLACEMENT

We are searching for a technician/research engineer/assistant within a technology developing unit (TDU) that focus on innovating biotechnology for cancer research as well as biomedical applications.

MAIN ACTIVITIES

The work will be creation, production and test of novel research and biomedical device, which involves collaboration for scientific projects with several Group Leaders at IFOM. We have a set up that include in addition to a vast arrays of biological and microscopy techniques, also 3D printing, micro-fabrication facility, Atomic Force Microscope and so on.

REQUIREMENTS

The candidate should be passionate about new technologies, and good at problem solving.

Previous experience in photo/soft lithography, microfluidics, device fabrication (3D printing), Atomic Force Microscope will be favored.

Basic knowledge about biology and imaging technique will be a plus.

The candidate should be willing to learn new skills, be organized and efficient, and work as part of a dynamic, international environment.

EDUCATION  

A degree in Biotechnology, Biology, Biomedical Engineering, Physics, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering or similar is preferred;

LANGUAGE SKILLS

Fluent in English
