How to apply

Students who wish to apply to the Summer School need to fill up the application form.

We request a fee of 150 euros.

A limited number of fee waivers and shared on - or off-campus accommodation will be available.
You may request lodging and waivers in the application form.
Selected applicants will be notified before registration.

Timeline

• Apply by March 31^st 2024
• Selected students will be invited to register by June 4^th 2024
• The fee will be paid at registration

Eligibility

• Students currently enrolled in a first-level (undergraduate) or second-level degree program (Master's or equivalent) are eligible to apply.
• The school is open to students from all classes of science but we aim to balance biology and quantitative backgrounds (e.g. physics, engineering, statistics, applied/theoretical mathematics, computer science)

Selection process

• Up to a maximum of 20 students will be admitted to the school, depending on the evaluation of applications.
• The school organizers will evaluate the applications.
• Selection will be based on candidates' academic track record and motivation statements provided in the application form.
• For a limited number of students the school may be able to provide a fee waiver or partial reimbursement of travel expenses. However, this support is not guaranteed.
