4th IFOM Symposium

Breaking Boundaries: Metabolism at the Cross-roads

November 14-15, 2019 | IFOM, Milan - Italy

Registrations are now closed

INFO

Cellular metabolism refers to the network of chemical reactions that transform metabolites to fulfill cellular functions. This Symposium aims to draw attention to the often under-appreciated role of metabolism in 5 main areas: DNA Damage Response, Immunity and Epigenetics, Longevity, Mechanobiology and Cancer.
The meeting will bring together experts, whose research is addressing this interplay, to discuss fundamental questions such as how cells metabolic status participates in tuning cellular function in varying physiological contexts.
In addition to the scientific seminars, the meeting will include multiple opportunities for interaction including a poster session, short talks selected from submitted abstracts and a meet-the-expert lunch for post-docs and students.
